The S-4 Section had the responsibilities of supplying the unit. Beside the normal functions of feeding and clothing the men and requisitioning equipment and maintanence parts the section acted in an advisory and supervisory capacity to the attached battalions. Food rations were daily drawn and on several occasions as many as five thousand rations were handled, but the bulk of the requisitioning was Engineer, Ordnance and Quartermaster supplies. Trips sometimes amounting to several hundred miles were made almost daily to depots all over England, France, Germany and Belgium.

The Signal Section of the 925th Engineer Aviation Regiment has, in true Aviation Engineer spirit, “built, maintained, and defended” all types of communication between the regiment and the higher and lower echelons of command. The various types of jobs existing divided the section into three parts: (1) Telephone communications: the installation, maintenance and repair of telephone equipment; (2) Radio communications: the operation and minor repair of the radio equipment, and (3) the Cryptography section: the encoding and decoding of all messages handled by the radio section. The work and morale of this section has always been very good and as a result there has been no cause for worry throughout the campaign.
