Maj Murray M. Janoff

922nd Engineer Aviation Regiment (EAR)

Murray Janoff was originally supply officer for the 922nd EAR at Geiger Field, Washington. He was later made adjutant and served in this role as well as unit intelligence officer until October 1945. Promoted to Major, Corps of Engineers, he was transferred to Military Intelligence Branch, Reserves, and served as a military intelligence Regimental Executive Officer in the New York area until 1952.
