Hello, I'm looking for any information on Pearcy N. Bartlett, a technician 5th grade, in the 186 EAB. He apparently (I've been told) died in Normandy. I can't find any information on how, when, etc., he died, and what exactly he did as a tech 5th grade. If anyone could lead me to any information, I would sincerely appreciate it!

Thank you so much,

Hey Teresa. I went ahead and moved your topic to the 816th EAB forum in the hopes of finding more people.

I took a quick look through the online version of the 816th History that I have and found this reference...

I'm not sure if it is the only one. I'll look in more detail when I get home.

I found a Percy N. Bartlett from Hohenwald Tn. He was assigned to A Company of the 816 EAB. I found no information on his death, he is listed in the Battalion book in the Memoriam only as Technician 5th Grade.
Hope this helps.

Hello,

Only found the following information on T/5 Percy N. Bartlett, army serial number 34280060 enlisted in the army 04-08-1942 and died on 08-14-1944 of a non combat related cause.

Hope this helps.
